Among the highlights of the Canada Day celebration in Merrickville-Wolford was the parade. Participants gathered at the Hilltop Manor Nursing Home and paraded to the Blockhouse Park. This year’s parade featured the RCMP Pipe Band.
Following the parade there were formal ceremonies in the park.
The Canada Day activities were preceded the evening before by the annual Nite Shirt Parade and concluded on July 1st at 10 pm in the fairgrounds with the Canada Day fireworks.
